Pit Bike Tuning Parts - Monstermoto.co.uk

What can you do to make your pit bike go faster? well there are many things you can do to your pit bike, there are a few parts that you should change first to get the best from your bike if you have any pit bike tuning ideas or pit bike tuning guides please send them to us.

The first thing I would do is change the carb and manafold as this is what holds your bike back the most, if you have a look on ebay you can get a carb for around £40 – £50 which is well worth the money. Then you should get a pit bike performance exhaust these can be anything from £50 to hundreds, you can get a pit bike performance exhaust on ebay for around £50 which again is well worth it.

After you have done these you have a CDI unit on the pit bike (110cc – 125cc), this limits your rpm to 8,500 rpm you can get a new CDI unit on ebay for £35, this limits your rpm to 10,000 and advances your timing for a better acceleration curve, and the best bonus from a CDI unit is that whatever you do to tune the bike the better the CDI unit is.

You can also change your front and back Sprockets to get better accelleration or top speed standard front sprockets are 14 tooth and back 37 to 40 tooth, a bigger front sprocket gives you more top end, and a smaller back one gives you more top end. Beware when playing with sprockets as you lose pick up going for top end these should be the last things you play with

if you have a 110cc or a 125cc you can stick a 140cc or higher, pit bike head on it and change the piston to a bigger one.
